Studio Safety Rules & Participant Agreement

By participating in any session at FirePetal Studio, you acknowledge and agree to follow all studio safety rules listed below. Failure to comply may result in removal from the session for safety reasons.

  1. I will follow all staff instructions at all times.
  2. I will wear appropriate eye protection when the torch is in use.
  3. I understand that hot glass can look the same as cold glass.
  4. I will keep my hair tied back and avoid loose sleeves, scarves, or anything flammable.
  5. I will keep drinks and personal items away from the torching and work area.
  6. I will report any accidents, burns, or equipment concerns to staff immediately.
  7. If I feel unwell (dizzy, nauseous, faint and etc.), I will stop immediately and inform staff.
  8. I understand that tools and glass rods can become extremely hot and must remain on the graphite board during operation.
  9. I understand that all new or long-cooled glass rods must be properly preheated before entering the flame.
  10. I will not block, touch, or interfere with the torch flame outlet using a glass rod or any object.
  11. I understand that any item placed in the flame must cool for at least 20 minutes before being touched by hand.
  12. I will not adjust the torch flame, gas controls, or switches; only studio staff may operate or adjust the torch.
  13. I agree that the studio is not responsible for injuries caused by failure to follow instructions or safety rules.

By continuing with your booking or participation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with all safety rules listed above.
