Frequently Asked Questions
Below are answers to some of the most common questions about our lampwork glass sessions at FirePetal Studio.
01. Do I need any prior experience?
No experience is required. Our sessions are suitable for complete beginners, and our instructors will guide you step by step throughout the process.
02. What can I make during a session?
We aim to turn your own creativity into real art. Depending on the session type and duration, you may create small glass pieces such as flowers, beads, pendants, or decorative items. Finished results may vary based on time, skill level, and individual progress.
03. How long is a session?
Most sessions last between 1 and 3 hours. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the exact session duration.
04. Is lampwork glassmaking safe?
Lampwork involves open flames and high temperatures, but safety is our top priority. All sessions are supervised, and safety instructions and protective equipment are provided.
05. What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing. Long hair should be tied back, and loose sleeves, scarves, or flammable materials should be avoided.
06. Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to our Cancel & Reschedule Policy. Please review the policy carefully before booking, as restrictions apply close to the session date.
07. What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive late, adjustments will depend on the studio schedule at the time. When subsequent sessions are fully booked, we may need to shorten your session. If availability allows, we'll do our best to extend your time where possible. Please note that late arrivals are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
08. Can I take my finished piece home on the same day?
In most cases, you can take your piece home on the same day. Some pieces require proper cooling time after the session. We will let you know whether your piece can be taken home the same day or collected later.
09. What if my glass piece breaks?
Glassmaking is a learning process, and breakages can occur. While our instructors will always guide you carefully, finished results cannot be guaranteed. If your glass piece breaks or is damaged, you can bring it back to our studio and we will help you fix it.
10. Is there an age requirement?
Suitable for adults and children aged 10 and above. An adult must accompany any attending children (the adult may observe for free).
11. Is this suitable as a gift or group experience?
Yes. Our sessions are a popular choice for gifts, couples, and small groups. Private or group bookings may be available subject to availability.
12. How can I contact FirePetal Studio?
