About This Workshop

Cut, shape and assemble your own crystal grape soap cluster from scratch

Arrive at the studio and get introduced to the soap-making process — tools, materials, and basic techniques. Your instructor will walk you through everything before you begin.

Step 2 - Cut soap base
02

Cut the Soap Base

Cut your chosen coloured soap into small, even cubes to form the base of your grape pieces. Your instructor will show you the right technique and size to aim for.

Step 3 - Shape pieces
03

Shape Each Piece

Trim and soften the edges of each cube to create natural, rounded grape shapes — soft, translucent, and crystal-like. This is a meditative and satisfying step.

Step 4 - Assemble
04

Assemble the Grapes

Attach each soap piece onto the rope, building your bunch layer by layer from the top down. Your instructor will guide you on spacing and arrangement to make it look full and natural.

Step 5 - Refine
05

Adjust & Refine

Position and shape the cluster to make it look full, balanced, and realistic. Step back, assess, and make any final tweaks until you're happy with the result.

Crystal grape soap detail
01. Can I take my creation home on the same day?

Yes — your grape soap cluster will be finished and ready to take home at the end of the session, beautifully packaged.

02. Can I choose my own colours?

Absolutely. You'll choose from our full range of translucent soap colours on the day. Popular choices include red, blue, green and pink — but you can mix and match however you like.

03. Is the soap actually usable?

Yes — the grape cluster is both decorative and functional. It looks beautiful displayed in your bathroom, and you can break off individual pieces to use as soap whenever you're ready.

04. Do I need any experience?

No experience is needed. This workshop is fully beginner-friendly — your instructor will guide you through every step of the cutting, shaping, and assembly process.

05. What's different about this workshop compared to the Botanical Soap?

The Crystal Grape workshop is about cutting and sculpting soap into a decorative cluster — it's more hands-on and sculptural. The Botanical Crystal workshop focuses on embedding flowers into clear soap bars to make 4 individual pieces. Both are beginner-friendly and equally rewarding.

06. What should I bring?

All materials are provided. Feel free to bring your own drinks (BYOB) to enjoy during the session.

07. Is it suitable for children?

This workshop is suitable for ages 10 and above. An adult must accompany any attending children — the adult may observe for free.

08. Will other groups be in the studio at the same time?

Yes — other workshops may run at the same time. The studio is a shared, relaxed creative space.

09. Is parking available?

Yes — street parking is available on both sides of the road on a first-come, first-served basis. The studio is also a 6-minute walk from Stratford Station.

10. Can I book a private group session?
